Pathology Research Studio

Pathology Research Studio turns H&E microscopy into measurable, explainable evidence: dynamic-baseline morphometry, chromatin signal analysis and stereo-field computational evidence, all while keeping the pathologist fully in control. Every finding is a reliability-scored measurement with a visible chain back to exactly where on the slide it came from. It is deliberately not a diagnostic device — it supports a qualified reviewer and never replaces one.

The engines

Four measurement layers, one slide

Wavelet signal analysis

Multi-scale energy, entropy and dispersion measured against a dynamic per-image baseline — flags where structure deviates.

Chromatin morphometry (CGE)

Eight nuclear metrics: chromatin contrast and punctation, hyperchromasia, boundary regularity, membrane-fold index, texture disorder and N:C contrast.

Blood-element candidates (CBP)

Candidate RBC / WBC / platelet detection for tissue context — explicitly candidate-only, never a blood count.

Stereo-field evidence

Compares a morphology view against an energy/signal view; their disagreement becomes computational evidence to review.

Hover any point and a magnifier follows the cursor with a live readout of the local tissue: hematoxylin vs eosin intensity and H:E ratio, a tissue-type call, local texture, entropy and focus, and per-nucleus metrics with that cell's reliability. You read the slide, not a label — the raw measurements behind every highlight stay visible.

Reliability, quantified

A reliability index accompanies every cell and every finding — a technical proxy for how much to trust a measurement, not calibrated statistical confidence. Below 0.55 a finding is flagged “may be wrong, verify manually”, and an artifact-vs-biology proof chain checks focus and folds before anything is interpreted.

Deliberately not a diagnostic device

The hardened build disables unsupported claims and keeps the software in its lane: measurement support for a qualified reviewer. The Studio never outputs a diagnosis, and the pathologist retains full interpretive responsibility.

Privacy by design

Runs entirely on your machine

Analysis runs locally — patient slides never leave the workstation and there are no external API calls. An optional local LLM can write the report narrative offline; with no model, a deterministic measurement summary is the safe fallback. The measurement core is reproducible and inspectable: the same slide yields the same numbers.
